Campari Day of Service A Success
You did it! Our 3rd Annual Campari Day of Service is in the books and we could not be prouder of all of you volunteers and supporters. Over 400 volunteers showed up to participate in one (or more in some cases) of nine (9) virtual activities on September 15th, 2020.
A total of 1,040 volunteer hours were contributed resulting in; two (2) truckloads of donations bring collected (contactless of course), 10k buildings being mapped in the Central African Republic, numerous hours of voice recording helping those with no voices, hundreds, if not thousands of calls being made to ensure that residents of Queens completed the census, and even more calls being made to increase awareness and provide information re. hospitality industry activism. A plethora of cards were written to those who need a bit of human contact during this crisis, the missions and programs of Negroni Week non-profits were supported and amplified through social media, and finally hundreds of small acts of kindness were accomplished across the country throughout the entire day.
We are incredibly thankful to Campari America for making this program a reality in this strange year, to our Team Leads for being flexible and pivoting to virtual activities, and to all of our volunteers for wanting to give back to their communities, even during a pandemic.
Check out #CampariCares on social media for some of the great posts from volunteers across the country, and hopefully you’ll be inspired to join us next year. Stay tuned HERE. Cheers!
